Apache Junction, AZ - Apache Junction, AZ - Sharon Rae Makela, 75, of Phoenix AZ passed away in her home on December 19, 2025. Though she had, had health challenges she was in good health and enjoying the Holiday Season with her daughter.
Sharon spent many years along side her family in Congress and Wickenburg, AZ. In the past 20 years Sharon enjoyed life and was adventurous and tried new things, like indoor skydiving, boating and her most favorite and memorable, cruising the Caribbean with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vernie Alice Acree and Robert Arnold Makela, her brother Kim Makela, and her sister Brenda Gephart. Sharon is survived by her sister Joan Hair, her daughter Debbie Cervantes and her son Travis Makela, his wife Karina G., and her grandchildren Jonathan, Crystal, Veronica, Elijah, Alex, Dawson, and Justin.
She will be missed by all those that got to know her special brand of humor and abundance of love.
